The Best Quality Artificial Christmas Trees of 2019

The tradition of trimming a Christmas tree can be dated all the way back to the 19th century when the upper class residents of Lutheran Germany decorated their trees in paper roses, apples, wafers and tinsel. Now it is a tradition that is shared among most peoples who celebrate Christmas with both religious and secular aspects alike. Having a trimming tree party is a cherished tradition that can bring families closer together.  However, due to health and environmental concerns of the modern day world, finding the right tree for your household can be a tedious task. You want to protect the environment by purchasing an artificial tree, but unnatural trees can be either corny to look at or difficult to put together. For example, my family had a 7ft tree that needed to be assembled by inserting each individual branch on the trunk pole- and to do this you had to match the colours that were on each branch to the coloured stickers on the pole. This sounds okay in theory, but as time went on the stickers fell off the branches and the tree looked more and more ridiculous each year because we would accidently insert the wrong branch into the wrong side of the pole. This tree didn’t come pre-lit either, so by the time we got the whole tree decorated we were all miserable! But I am not going to let that happen to you! For today, I’m going to show you the BEST quality artificial Christmas Trees of 2019! How does that sound? Good?

Great!

But before we have a look at the catalogue; let’s discuss the makings of a great family Christmas tree shall we?

The Makings of a Great Christmas tree

1. Easy Assembly- You want to set aside most of the day to decorate your household for the Christmas Season, but if the tree you purchased is difficult to put together- you could spend 8 hours just getting the tree up! And depending on the degree of difficulty- those hours may not include decorating the item. So, you need a tree that takes 1 hour to fluff-out at the MOST!

2. Easy Clean Up- Some artificial trees can shed just as much as real ones do! And it can be very tedious to clean-up afterwards. You don’t want to spend your whole decorating day cleaning!

3. Long Life Span- The less your tree sheds the longer it will last. Cheap quality trees shed a great deal and usually have very soft branches that look closer to tinsel than needles. These items won’t last long- so make sure you give your tree a good once over if you can.

4. Health Conscious- Even the best quality trees can scratch and cause rashes. Most people buy a set of gloves to use when putting up their trees if the company did not provide some themselves. Really high end trees usually come with gloves, but even so it is better when the product is made in such a way that it doesn’t cause reactions at all. It is hard to come by, but better the quality the less it should scratch.

5. Environment Conscious- A lot of artificial Christmas trees are made to be eco-friendly! This is awesome and definitely something to keep in mind when tree hunting! The more products you can put in your homes that are both healthy for you and the environment you live in the better! Just because it’s Christmas- it doesn’t mean you should take health risks in order for your home to look nice.

6. Realistic Appearance- This obviously isn’t the most important thing to keep in mind as artificial trees will never look as real as the actual thing- but you don’t want your tree to be so low in quality that it looks tacky. A good tree to have in your home is usually a detailed one, so you can show it off to friends and ensure your home looks as beautiful as you imagined it to be for the Holiday. 🙂

  1. Awesome article, Darc’ie. I could literally feel the strong spirit of Christmas as long as I was reading your article. In fact, it is the first time I’ve read this much of detail on Christmas trees.

I used to decorate Christmas tree in a pathetic way. You’ve just provided the wonderful resources to consider. I liked that white tree a lot. I’ll surely consider your great articles in my upcoming Christmas.

Thanks a lot for sharing this article. I’m truly glad that I came across your amazing website.

    Best Wishes

    1. Your words mean a great deal to me- thank you. I strive to give as much detail as possible while spreading as much CHEER as possible! I am pretty in love with the White tree also- true is has its flaws, but the look is very unique and has potential to add a great deal of beauty to a home!

Hope to hear from you again soon,

      Darc’ie

  2. At my house we still use the real tree, i know i know it is bad for the environment. To be honest it is quite expensive as well. The leaves would fall almost everyday even though I put this food in the water base for the tree. However, my husband loves the scent of the real Christmas tree and he enjoys going to the store and get one every year. I have been convincing him many years now that we should get the fake one since it is better for the environment and has less maintenance and definitely cheaper. We will see if I can convince him this year, I still have 7 months. Thank you for the list and the review 🙂 the 7’ Luxury Feel-Real Spruce Tree looks great. I will make him say yes!

    1. There is nothing wrong with sticking to tradition, however, I completely agree with you that it is cheaper to purchase an artificial tree! Some artificial trees can still shed a great deal, but with a little vacuuming it’s not to bad. If I find a tree that also smells as real as it feels I will definitely post about it! The smell of fresh trees IS truly wonderful.

I wish you the best of luck in convincing your hubby to get a new tree this year!

      Sincerely yours,

      Darc’ie

  3. We have had several real trees, which of course die and go brown, also they are a bit messy,Also you have to provide your own tree lights.

Have artificial trees the majority of the market now, or are real trees still an alternative for many people?

I am not really in favour of the 6 foot white tree, although it has some good points,it does come with it,s own lights, and it is easy to erect, but it is the second most expensive in the group.

The tree that I would choose, is the 7 foot hinged spruce tree,it is the only tree that has no shipping charges, and its price is reasonable,it has it,s own multi coloured lights, and it is a space saver.

The 7 foot luxury feel real spruce is nice, but is the most expensive in the group,is not so easy to put together, and a bit too flamboyant,

The 5 foot luscious pine tree, would be good for a flat, or for someone with a budget to meet, and is easy to assemble.

Overall they are a good group of Christmas trees, and will brighten up anybodies Christmas,

    1. Hello Robert!

Thank you so much for your comment and kind words. I’m pretty attached to the white tree myself- but then again I have always loved white trees. 🙂  I would rather brighten up someones day though-that is what this site truly is for!

Real trees are still an option for people, however they are being discouraged more and more now for environmental reasons. Artificial trees will soon be the only option I think.

      Sincerely yours,

      Darc’ie

  4. Hi Darc’ie,
Wow! Amazing artificial Christmas trees to celebrate the coming Christmas without trimming down a real tree. I think the idea of using an artificial tree is simply great. Because it won’t be necessary to trim down the tree which is good for our green natural environment. By the way, if I have to choose one then I will prefer an artificial Christmas tree with eco-friendly materials and easy to assemble. Thanks a lot for sharing this useful article.

    Warm regards,
    Ranao.

    1. Hi Ranao!

Ec0-friendly trees are my first choice also. My husband and I have two trees made from such materials.

Thank you so much for your comment!

      Sincerely yours,

      Darc’ie

  5. Your article on the Best Quality Artificial Christmas Trees of 2019 is really is really a joy to read as you were very distinct in your write up. The six points you listed on the Makings of a Great Christmas tree are phenomenal and really really the truth. I had never come across any site that talks well on Christmas tree prior to reading your post. Its made me to have a perception of how creative people like you could be. Once again thanks for this very useful informative post on Christmas tree. I hope to read more posts from you subsequently. Cheers!

    1. Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I am so glad my article proved helpful to you and I look forward to hearing from you again on future articles I write. I love what I do- but it is readers like yourself that make posting even more worth while. 🙂

      Yours,

      Darc’ie

  6. I have used the 7luxury real-feel spruce Christmas tree in the past festive season. I liked it but I think I am seeing the one I prefer more here in your article. I bought the 7luxury reak-free spruce and I didn’t know I was supposed to use gloves while setting it up and it scratched my skin but the fact remains that the tree is nice. I will love to purchase the white Christmas tree which is easy to assemble together.

    1. A man after my own heart! White Christmas trees are great. And that added sparkle really makes this particular tree all the more interesting.

I am so sorry to hear about your hands! Using gloves isn’t a mandatory thing that everyone knows about- it is something I learned after years of purchasing different tree decorations. Personally I think such a rule should be made mandatory so buyers won’t have to worry about rashes or buying their own gloves.

I hope you have a better experience this coming Christmas!

      Sincerely yours,

      Darc’ie

  7. “It’s never too early to shop for Christmas.” Those are words my wife lives by. We have had an artificial tree for three years now. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that she wants two trees now. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. This review is really helpful though and I think I’m leaning toward getting one that is flicked to put by our upstairs window.

    1. Your wife sounds wonderful and Christmas crazy like me! 😉

My husband didn’t like having more than one tree at first either but I talked him into it and after he saw how pretty our home looked with 2 trees in it he changed his mind. I tree by the window is a superb idea! A very traditional scene.

  8. I really Want to commend you for taking out time to write about the best quality artificial tree.. Of cause, I can remember last Christmas, when we were decorating the house,  we spent the whole  trying to set up the Christmas tree that my dad bought. That day my dad ended up in the hospital, because, his skin became red and rashes all over. I just wish that I had stumbled on this article before then. But I want to say A big thanks to you because you have added to my knowledge , I now know what to look out for

    1. You are most welcome Barry- I hope your Dad is okay! :O

It sounds like he has quite a severe allergy to the materials on artificial trees- that is common but definitely something to be careful of! I have reactions to the materials too so I purchased two sets of gloves- one that is just long enough for the wrists and one other that goes all the way up the elbow. That gives extra protection!

I sincerely hope you and your Dad have a much more relaxing and SAFE Christmas this coming year!

      Yours,

      Darc’ie

  9. What a festive website!  I love the snow affect, great job!  Apples!  wow I can’t imagine how that might end up after a bit of time…I personally love the smell of a pine tree, we did this one year when I was younger and I’ll never forget the fresh scent, but they are a mess to clean up after.

I’m really starting to love the look of the white christmas tree’s although we just bought a new one last year so it might have to wait a couple years.

I like the look of the pine tree you have added in here, I wonder if they offer one with longer needles?

    1. Hi, Amanda!

That is a great question- and one I would be happy to look into for you. My family had an artificial pine for years and the needles never were very long. Makes it a little tricky to hang decorations sometimes.

White Christmas trees are great! I really love them although they don’t look all that realistic. If you really wanted a white tree in your home you may be able to find a small decorative one at a craft fair or even online near the holiday season- it could hold you over until your able to get a lifesize one!

Thanks so much for your comment,

      Sincerely yours,

      Darc’ie

  10. Christmas season is still far but it’s not bad if  I can make an order now so I will be free from that expenses. I think I like that luxury feel free tree and I will be making an order for it. Kindly let me know if you have other questions Christmas materials you will like to recommend. I will be looking forward to your reply.

    1. Hello there!

I am so glad you found my site helpful today! I will be posting many more posts regarding great Christmas products for the season, but until then I recommend having a look at my article regarding affordable table decorations- http://christmas-christmas-and

  11. Hi there. I’m here again lol. Every post on this blog always touch my heart and awaken the spirit of Christmas in me. The Christmas tree thing is a disaster in my family and no one seems to care about it. Well, I won’t let that happen this year. Thanks for sharing this beautiful post and the list. I love Luscious Lighted Pine Tree. I’ve got plans for it. Thanks

    1. HI ALEX!

It means so much to me that you return to my website and read my latest posts- you are such a treasure!

The Luscious tree seems to be quickly becoming a fave! If you purchase it I would be thrilled to see a photo of it in your home. 🙂 And I am so sorry to hear about Christmas tree decorating not being a fun moment in your home- as I started to grow up my immediate family hated it too. Now, I have helped my Mum replace her old tree with a smaller one that is easier for her to decorate- so she doesn’t mind it as much now. As for me and mu hubby- we can’t wait to put up our tree every year!

  12. Here in my country real Christmas trees don’t grow, so have only one choice if we want to put up Christmas trees and bring on the full weight of the Christmas spirit to our homes, offices, and other public places.

So, to make up for our inability to get real Christmas trees, we try to get the best artificial Christmas trees, that will make it seem like we are not missing anything in Christmas trees.

I am grateful for your article, it makes my search for the best artificial Christmas trees easy.

    1. Hi Peace!

Thank you for sharing information about your country and its traditions! To my mind it doesn’t matter if your tree is real or fake. It is about spending time with those you care about and taking a break from the stresses of every day life. But I’m glad my article could help you!

      Yours,

      Darc’ie

  13. Christmas is a wonderful time and no time is too soon to prepare for it. Getting the best seems like the only option especially when it comes to appearance. My favourite is the Balsam artificial traditional trees, they are perfect for those who want the realistic shape and color of a Balsam Hill tree, but still like the look of the classic artificial Christmas tree.

    1. Hello Michelle!

Thank you for informing me about Balsam trees- I am not very familiar with them but I will be sure to do some research and post about them!

      Thanks for stopping by today!

      Sincerely yours,

      Darc’ie

  14. Thanks for writing this review on the best quality artificial Christmas trees for 2019.i must commend you for a job well done for taking your time to write on this various Christmas trees. I do buy Christmas tree and pay someone outside to help me to assemble it due to the fact that is somehow difficult to assemble for me. But looking at 7’ Luxury Feel-Real Spruce Tree I like it as a Christmas tree I must say.

    1. Feel-real trees are definitely hard to ignore that is for sure! But you should always purchase the tree that’s right for you. 🙂 I’m glad you are able to get help putting up your tree. I just wish I could help you with that personally. I would do it for free too- hehe.

Thanks so much for your comment!

      Yours,

      Darc’ie
